Brown Butter Macadamia Crescent Cookies

Delight your taste buds with these exquisite crescent-shaped cookies that feature the rich flavor of brown butter and the delightful crunch of macadamia nuts. A perfect blend of nuttiness and sweetness in every bite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, browned and cooled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup finely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Melt the butter over medium-low heat in a medium-sized saucepan

Stir the pan every so often as you keep cooking until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty

Leave it alone until it's cool enough to touch

Put the cooled brown butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl

Mix until everything is well mixed and smooth

Now add the vanilla extract and mix it in again

Mix the flour and salt into the butter mixture little by little until a soft dough forms

Add the chopped macadamia nuts and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough

Cut off small pieces of dough and roll them out into crescent shapes

Leave some space between each cookie when you put them on the baking sheet that has been prepared

After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown

Grab the cookies from the oven and set them on the baking sheet to cool for a while

Use your hands to coat the cookies in powdered sugar while they are still warm

Let them cool all the way down on a wire rack

After the cookies have cooled all the way, you can coat them one last time with powdered sugar

These Brown Butter Macadamia Crescent Cookies are great to serve and enjoy!
