Vegan Cinnabun
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup vegan butter, melted
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed + 3 tablespoons water flax egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
To make a flax egg, mix water and ground flaxseed in a small bowl
Do nothing for 5 minutes so it can get thicker
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl
Melt the vegan butter and mix it with the almond milk, flax egg, and vanilla extract
Mix until you get a dough
Spread some flour on a surface and roll out the dough into a rectangle
Put brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix them together
Spread this mixture out over the dough in a thin layer
Starting from the long side, roll the dough up tight
Cut into pieces of the same size
Put the cinnamon rolls in a baking dish that has been greased
It should be baked for 18 to 20 minutes, or until it turns golden brown
Let it cool down a bit before you serve it
